I’m getting a tingly feeling about this one!
Its 1:13am, and the constellation Cancer is just rising in the east. I think I’ve been looking too deep into the mechanics of this world. I think I’m losing my mind, or maybe I’m just too drunk. It’s so cold outside but I’m so warm in my apartment. I hate all the notes scattered on the floor, messing up the order in my room, in my life, telling me everything about the physics of the stars but nothing about the chemistry of you and I. But there is no you and I anymore. You left me and this city for another man and the Hawaiian stars. This local sky is too bright, too foggy, not enough for you but good enough for me. I don’t want to leave the city, where the lights of the Bay Bridge are brighter than the sparkle of Polaris. I am haggard, tired, broken hearted, and very drunk, searching for the answers that will unlock the universe, thinking that maybe then, maybe then, I can just sit back and see this world for what it is. Maybe I can just sit back and watch the stars.

Yeah you guys, I spent a whole hour buiilding a sub-rudimentary website for As You Were. Behold my entry-level html skills AND get a sneak-scoop on who’s new and who’s returning for the upcoming third issue (which I maintain is HANDS DOWN the best issue yet - and I’m not just saying that, it’s for real incredible).
